About this deadbolt

The Emtek #3 Sandcast Bronze Deadbolt is a sandcast bronze deadbolt styled to match Emtek's #3 Sandcast Bronze door hardware, so the front door matches the rest of the house. It has a flap that covers the keyhole. Bronze patina is a living finish that ages and reveals the underlying bronze over time.

Which function do I need?

Single cylinder: key outside, thumbturn inside. The usual choice for a front or side door.
Double cylinder: key on both sides. Check your local code before using one on an exit door.
Single sided: thumbturn inside only, no key. For doors you only lock from inside.
